Leo Pick

Nov. 14, 1890 in Ústí nad Labem, Czechia

He was most probably part of the Jewish family Pick. They were successful in the textile industry.

The authors Tomáš Federovič and Vladimír Kaiser mention in their book "Historie židovské komunity v Ústí nad Labem/The history of the Jewish Community in Ústí nad Labem" (2005, p. 7) Leo Pick's name and that he was only able to prove 195 living Jews from Ústí nad Labem in 1955. In 1930 lived over 1,000 Jews in the city. Pick survived the holocaust, returned to Ústí nad Labem. However, the house was confiscated in 1947 and he immigrated to Israel for good.
