Tibor Urbantsok, sometimes wtritten as Urbancsok, was a Hungarian architect who graduated from the Royal Hungarian Joseph University of Technology in Budapest in 1921. After working in Győr and spending five years in the Soviet Union, he returned to Hungary in 1937.
He became head of the construction department at the Hungarian Wagon and Machine Factory in Győr, where he designed several major industrial buildings and workshops, as well as the factory's apartment buildings.
In December 1944, Urbantsok was murdered in his apartment after a internation in the jail of the fortress in Komárno by Nazi-like Arrow Cross members because of his years spent in the Soviet Union and his resulting suspicion of communist sympathies. He was posthumously commemorated in 1951.
