Oldřich Starý

Oldřich Starý was a Czech architect. He was a pioneer and leading figure of the Czech inter-war period architecture. He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague and worked Pilsen and Prague. In 1935 he became president of the Czechoslovakian Werkbund. He was editor of the magazine "Stavba" (1922-1939) and the following magazine "Architektura ČSR" which was published from 1938 till 1990.
