Description

The structure of the building is very clear. The storeys are designed with large windows, the middle zone with ribbon windows. The clinker brick building has decorative plaster strips. The name Mlýn Jana Kotrcha (Jan Kotrch's mill) originally appeared on the upper horizontal stripe (most probably on the river side).

History

In the region of Sušice is the water of the river Otava used for water mills. At this place, next to the weir, was in operation a mill since the 19th century. In addition to older houses this building was used for producing electricity. The mill is today part of a factory. The ground floor and first floor is hidden behind a younger construction.
