With the founding of Czechoslakia was established the Czechoslovak Participation Society of Medicinal Spas. In Trencianske Teplice Jan Topinka was the director of this society in the years 1930-1935. He was the driving force behind the construction of modern buildings and facilities in the spa town. As in other places in Czechoslovakia, the state's self image was to be expressed: progressive and internationally connected. Such decisions were certainly also intended to encourage more guests to visit the resort and take a cure.
