AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) was one of the biggest company for electric devices, machines (trams) as well as steaming machines.

Founded in Berlin as Deutsche Edison-Gesellschaft für angewandte Elektricität, its name was changed to AEG in 1888. The company stopped to exist in 1996.
