Among other universities he enrolled in the Regia Scuola Superiore di Architettura in Florence and became a student of Giovanni Michelucci. He was a friend of Italo Gamberini and was very productive during te Fascist period in Italy, dealing also with restorations of historical buildings. He was interested in aerodynamics in the 1930s, which is why he designed aeroplanes, ships and airports.Besides architecture he also designed many exhibitions and shops.
