Not much information are known about Fricke. Outside Leipzig, his industrial buildings are well known in the region (the briquette factory in Neukieritzsch, the biscuit factory in Wurzen), and in Leipzig his upper-class houses, such as Kretzschmanns Hof in the city centre.
