Franz Roeckle

Dec. 15, 1879 in Vaduz, Liechtenstein
Dec. 23, 1953 in Vaduz, Liechtenstein

Franz Roeckle studied at two Stuttgart universities and worked for many different construction projects.

He won the competition to built the Westend syynagoge in Frankfurt/Main in 1908-1910. From this time on he was in close contact with projects in Frankfurt/Main.

The style of the town hall in Vaduz is symbolic. It illustrates that Roeckle made his decision for traditional styles and politically supported the rise of the German National Socialist ideology.
