Béla Barát completed his architectural studies in 1910. Together with Ede Novák, he designed buildings until his death. He tended to use all neo-styles and from the 1930s also modern elements. The team was characterised by the division of labour. Ede Novák carried out the construction planning and Béla Barát the final decoration tasks.
