Alfred Albini

Different sources mention different places of birth. According to www.enciklopedija.hr he was born in Graz, Austria. On the opposite on Wikipedia he was born in Zagreb, Croatia. Albini graduated in 1923 after stuying in Vienna and Zagreb. In 1924 he started to work as an architect. It is interesting, that he became a professor in 1943, because he was born into a Jewish family. Croatia during this time was a fascist country, persueing Jews.

He realized many moderate modern buildings and draw many plans for buildings, that were not built.

After World War II he was active as an architect in the Croatian part of Yugoslavia.
