Waiting for a tram in style.
Description
An elegant and simple design with clear lines made of reinforced concrete. Glass panes are attached to both sides to protect waiting passengers from wind, rain and snow. The walls are cladded with white tiles. Below are two stone benches. In the back area public toilets used to be part of the shelter.
History
The only tram shelter that is left in Brno from that time. The lighting in the evening gives the tram shelter its special charm. It is therefore also a rare, but all the more valuable relict when architects tried to give cities, that became bigger and faster some functional buildings with its own "big city" aesthetics.
Until 2017 the shelter has been renovated.
