A factory building of a once influential company
Description
The building has two characteristic fronts with the southeast and the northwest facade. Those two facades are dominated by the horizontal stripes, alternating between a zone of ribbon windows and bricks.
The horizontal levels are contrastive to the vertical ribbon window used for the stairway.
History
We do not have many information about this building. It was planned or maybe even already built in 1936 and finished most probably in 1938. It was used as a laboratory and production building for anilin dye as part of the dye industry and maybe artificial silk.
