Nikola was a successful dealer in fabrics and furs and ran his business in Novi Sad. He even acted as purveyor to the court and was a friend of King Aleksandar. He appeared as a benefactor and donor and was also the main donor to the Palace of the Merchant Youth of Novi Sad. In 1946, his assets were confiscated and nationalised. He was 59 years old at the time. We do not know what he did in the years leading up to his death.
