Dušan Đorđević studied law at the Sorbonne in Paris. In th 1920s he worked as a diplomat for the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes abroad.
His reputation abroad was very high, that in 1928 he took up a new position in the Directorate of State Debts of the Ministry of Finance. He participated in the liquidation of agricultural debts.
Between 1939 and 1941, he was a member of the Yugoslav government delegation to negotiate with Germany the cancellation of Yugoslavia's inherited debts from the Austro-Hungarian era.
During World War II he was a member of the Nedić Government. That's why the decision was made in 1944, after the Communists took over power, he was declared a war criminal. The judgement was made to fulfill the penalty by firing squad, deprivation of honor and confiscation of all property. His death was published in the newspaper Politika on 27th November 1944.
