He ran a business with artificial flowers and had this commercial building built for it.
The family was Jewish, his wife Růžena died in the Terezín (Theresienstadt) concentration camp in 1943. How his life went on is not clear to us. The children of both, who were born before World War II, survived the Holocaust and lived in different countries. It can be assumed that Gustav Lindt lived with one of his children.
