Rudolf Emanuel Jacobsen was a Norwegian architect.
Jacobsen studied at the Royal Drawing School in Christiania (Oslo), and after school, he worked as an assistant to Professor Isak Gustaf Clason in Stockholm from 1902. At the same time, he studied at the Royal Institute of Technology under Professor Clason, where he obtained his degree in architecture in 1907. Jacobsen started his own practice in Christiania (Oslo) in 1909.
