Otto Goldscheider chose to pursue his studies in Vienna. He later moved to Zagreb, where he designed numerous buildings, most of them residential. Reflecting the stylistic currents of the time, his works incorporate elements of Art Nouveau and various neo-styles, and in the final years of his life he also created houses that embraced the spirit of Modernism.
