Milivoj Tričković studied in Paris and graduated in 1926. After one year working as an architect in Paris he went in 1927 to Belgrade and became architect of the Technical Directorate of the Belgrade Municipality. In this position he became an person that influenced Belgrade's architecture.
Besides the (Old) Exhibition Ground Staro sajmište he designed prototypes of school buildings that were to become standardised forms. He completed his work on behalf of the city of Belgrade in 1941. After World War II, he continued just to work as a professor of architecture until 1965.
It is said that he was buried on Novo groblje cementery in Belgrade 27th March, 1981.
