It is surprising that so little biographical information exists on Milan Delenardo. What is known is that he studied at the Technical University in Zagreb. Comparing the buildings he designed in Zagreb, which represent a pinnacle of 1930s modern architecture, suggests that he was likely born around 1905. There are no known examples of his work in the eclectic style typical of Zagreb up to the late 1920s, nor are there any documented projects from the period after the Second World War.
