Maximilianus Rubens (in Greek: Μαξιμιλιανός Ρούμπενς) was one of the prominent architects in Thessaloniki during the 1920s and 1930s. Even though we cannot find many information about him.
He graduated from Constantinople (Istanbul) School of Fine Arts in 1912. The first buildings approved that he is the author date back to 1922. Until 1930 he designed houses in a more ecclectical and historical styles. In 1930 he related to the International Modernism. We do not know with whom he wss in contact outside of Greece.
