Karel Tymich studied architecture between 1910 and 1918. Until 1938 he worked as an architect at the Provincial Comittee in Prague. He was productive in designing hospitals.
For 10 years he changed his profession working for the insurance company Fénix.
In the late 1940s and 1950s he retured to construction institutions in the region of Ústí nad Labem.
