Jarmila Lisková studied at the Prague ČVUT from 1921 to 1926. She focused on social housing, small-scale flats, and the forms of urban planning that arose from them. For a long time she co-operated with Ivan Šula, who was also her life partner. After the Second World War, she continued teaching until 1964.
