He is supposed to be of a major Italian architect. For our context collectioning buildings up to 1949, he primarily designed buildings that have a very classical and antique reference and are therefore not listed on our website. A turning point was the construction of Florence Main station together with the Tuscan Group between 1931 and 1935. He was a very productive architect up until the 1970s and after World War II he developed an architecture that was increasingly aligned with international modernism.
