Ervin Quittner studied from 1909 to 1914 and did not graduate in architecture until 1918 due to World War I. He was probably also influenced by the work of his father Zsigmond Quittner, who designed industrial buildings. He also dedicated himself to this building task. As a car fanatic, he also designed car showrooms and car dealerships.
In the 1930s, he increasingly adopted modernist concepts for his residential building projects, having primarily designed neo-baroque buildings. As we understand the sources, he was first married to a Jewish woman. In 1941 he married a German woman. Was this a reason to avoid repression? Nevertheless, he was deported to the Dachau labour camp in 1944, where he died at 11th or 21st February 1945.
