It is not much known about Erich Bohne's life. In the years around 1930 he worked in Berlin. Besides his projects for the Reichsforschungssiedlung he designed the church Weihnachtskirche next to the housinmg estate in 1934/35 and the housing estate in Reichstraße 65-70,Westendallee 72-76 from 1928 as well the houses in Sodener Straße 8-20 and Wiesbadener Straße 58-58F, both with few modern features. In the city of Bremen he designed apartment blocks as well.
