Aleksandar Freudenreich graduated from the Building School in 1911 and completed his architectural studies at the Academy of Arts in Zagreb under Drago Ibler in 1930. In 1923 he founded a joint practice with architect Pavle Deutsch under the name “Arhitekti – Freudenreich & Deutsch – graditelji.” After the Second World War, he designed numerous public buildings across Croatia, including museums and cultural centres.
