This building introduces a touch of metropolitan character to the shopping street, positioned between the historic centre and the railway station.
The most distinctive feature of the façade is its central section. A projecting oriel forms the dominant element, giving the building a strong vertical emphasis. On the ground floor, the retail space is clearly articulated, while the storeys above are structured by the arrangement of windows. Traditional casement windows are integrated into a horizontal ribbon window that also includes fixed panes. At the slightly recessed edges of the façade, corner windows provide additional openness and light.
On the top floor, the façade of the oriel is dissolved, creating two loggias. The oriel itself has a concave form, a shape favoured by the architect Karel Řepa and one that also appears frequently in the local architectural tradition, particularly in Baroque church buildings.
