The house is exemplary of the work of the architect Karel Řepa for apartment houses. This includes the symmetrical façade, as well as the staircase oriented toward the street, identifiable by the vertical ribbon window made of glass. From the first floor onward, he adds small balconies to the building. Although the forms are highly reduced, when viewed from below, some elements still recall the Czech National style or rondocubism of around 1920. He favors the use of round windows, for example on the ground floor or in the entrance door. He also plays with façade elements, such as the continuous cornice that separates the door from the stairwell window, or the masonry roof structure or gable that initially conceals the gabled roof.
The modern features are the mix of plaster and cermamics on the façade and the garage.
