This guesthouse brought a new architectural style to Luhačovice. No peaked roof, no ornaments and the interiors were optimally designed for the needs.

Description

The building is located on a slope. The north side on the road is the upper part. The architect took advantage of the location, which gives the building three storeys on the north side and four storeys on the south side. The entrance is at the north-west corner and forms an indentation in the building. The name of the guesthouse is displayed above the entrance. In contrast to the neighbouring Pension Viola, no windows have yet been set across the corner. The conditions for the construction of the new guesthouses stated that the nearest house had to be at least 10 metres away and 5 metres from the neighbouring plot.

History

This guesthouse was the first to be built in Luhačovice, together with four other guesthouses. With their white colour, they gave the name to the whole street Bílá čtvrť, meaning White Quarter.

The two developers Krista Ambrožová and Josef Ambrož were relatives of the architect.
